When you set goals for yourself, it is important that they motivate you: this means making sure that they are important to you and that there is worth in achieving them.

Motivation is key to achieving goals.
You are your own best motivator. Your motivation must come from within yourself.

This can be used as a motivating value statement to help if you start to doubt yourself or lose confidence in your ability to actualize your goal or make it come to a reality.
